· At “Quranic Teach”, students learn the parts of the Seerah that are mentioned in the Quran enabling them to have depth of knowledge and better understanding of the context in which the Ayat were revealed.
Do you know how challenging it is to memorize something you do not understand?
Our approach to memorizing is the approach of the companions.
The Companions did not start to learn new verses before they memorized ten verses and practiced them.
According to the narration of Abdurrazzaq from Ma’mar, from Ata b. as-Saib, Abu Abdurrahman as-Sulami said, “When we learned ten verses from the Quran, we would not move on to the next ten verses unless we learned the halals, harams, orders, and prohibitions in those verses. According to what Imam Malik states in his book called Muwatta, Abdullah b. Umar learned the chapter of al-Baqara in eight years (1).
How do we achieve this goal?
We will be using the Quranic Arabic method. Repeating. Repeating. Repeating is the best way to learn a new word. Repetition fixes new words in your memory. However, repeating them a hundred times over the course of one day will not be as effective as repeating them a few times over a period of several days or weeks. Repetition fixes new words in your memory. Students will hear the same words over the course of 4 months.

Why is understanding the Quran so important?
There are mainly five rights of the Qur’an upon the reader.
The right to preserve it:
The one who has memorized the Qur’an is more deserving of this aforementioned merit in the right of recitation. Because memorization includes recitation, and because of the difficulty involved in memorization and because the memorizer is distinguished by the fact that the revelation is in his chest, he recites it whenever he wants. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Read and ascend and recite as you used to recite in this world, for your place will be at the last verse you recite.” ” [12]
The right to contemplate:
God Almighty said: “And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for the remembrance. Is there anyone who will remember it?” [Al-Qamar: 17]. Ibn Katheer said: “That is, We have made its wording easy and We have made its meaning easy for whoever wants it so that the people may remember.” [14] It is a book whose words God has made easy, for they are easy and sweet and invite its reader to contemplate and contemplate. Consideration and admonition, God Almighty said: “A blessed Book which We have sent down to you, that they may reflect upon its verses, and that those of understanding may remember” [p. 29]. Al-Tabari said: “It means that whoever of your people We have sent you to reflect upon this Qur’an, O Muhammad” [15] .
Rebuke and reprimand came to those who neglected to reflect; Then God Almighty said: “Do they not contemplate the Qur’an? Had it been from other than God, they would have found in it much discrepancy” [An-Nisa’: 82]. Al-Shawkani said: “This verse indicates the necessity of contemplating the Qur’an in order to know its meaning” [16] .
Read MoreJust as God Almighty has made its words easy for readers, He has made its meaning easy for those who reflect, so there is no difference in its rulings, and no conflict in its reports. Rather, some of it confirms one another, and some of it agrees with one another.
God Almighty has explained the reason for the turning away of those who turn away from contemplating His Noble Book, saying: “Do they not contemplate the Qur’an? Or are there locks upon their hearts?” [Muhammad: 24]. The reason for turning away from the Book of the Lord of the Worlds is the locks in their hearts. So whoever finds in himself turning away from contemplating the Qur’an. Let him know that he is being afflicted with a great test and let him seek help from the dawn breaker to remove the veils from his heart so that he may enjoy the light of the Qur’an.
Ibn Umar memorized Surat Al-Baqarah for several years, as he stopped at each verse, contemplating and contemplating. Mujahid bin Jabr said: “I showed the Qur’an to Ibn Abbas three times, from its beginning to its conclusion. I stopped it at each verse and asked him about it” [18]. ] Ibn Abi Malika said: “I saw a Mujahid asking Ibn Abbas about the interpretation of the Qur’an while he had its tablets, and Ibn Abbas said to him: Write until he asked him about the entire interpretation” [19] .
The predecessors’ interest in the Qur’an was contemplation and interpretation, following their example of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who would not pass over the Qur’an except with understanding and contemplating. He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, heard a woman one night reciting, “Has the hadith of the unjustly conquered ever reached you? ” [Al-Ghashiya: 1], so he stood up and listened and said: “Yes, he has come to me” [20] .
It has been proven that, peace and blessings be upon him, “When he came across a sign of mercy, he would ask, and if he came across a sign of torment, he would seek refuge” [21] .
A group of the Companions excelled in knowing the meanings of the Qur’an, including Ibn Abbas. Al-A’mash said on the authority of Abu Wael: “Ali appointed Abdullah bin Abbas as his successor in charge of the season, so he addressed the people, and in his sermon, he recited Surat Al-Baqarah, and in the narration of Surat Al-Nur, and he interpreted it in an explanation. If the Romans, Turks, and Daylam had heard him, they would have converted to Islam. “ [22]
Sections for contemplating the Qur’an:
1- Detailed consideration; Meaning that the reader or listener understands the meanings of what he reads and stands with the sermons and rulings of the Qur’an. Al-Alusi said in Ruh al-Ma’ani when God Almighty says: “Indeed, in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart” [Q: 37], (for remembrance) for a reminder and an admonition for whoever has a heart. A conscious person realizes the facts, for he who is not aware and does not understand is in the status of nothingness [23] .
2- Contemplate the generality; This means that the heart is reminded that what it reads or hears is the great word of God Almighty, so the mind does not then turn to anything else. The Almighty said: “Or he gave the hearing while he is a witness” [Q: 37]. Al-Alusi said: “Or he gave the hearing while he is a witness,” meaning he listened to what It is recited to him from the revelation while he is a witness, that is, present, although he is one of the witnesses in the sense of presence, and what is meant by it is the one who is aware, because the one who is not aware is in the status of one who is absent” [24] .
Right to Act upon it:
Acting on the Qur’an is one of the most important goals of its revelation, and other rights are subsequent to this right, as it is not possible to act on the Qur’an except those who recite it, meditate on it, and venerate it.
The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to act upon it in all of that. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said about him: “His character was the Qur’an” [ 29] That is, he obeys His commands, abstains from His prohibitions, behaves according to His morals, and behaves according to His manners.
The right to refer to the Qur’an:
It is a type of work on the Qur’an, but it is mentioned here only because of its importance and because of the frequent texts indicating its greatness and status. God Almighty said: “Are you the people of ignorance who seek to rule? Who is better than God in judgment for a people who are certain?” [Al-Ma’idah: 50].
Read MoreIt is absolutely astonishing that someone reads this Qur’an and knows what is in it of the truthfulness of the information and the fairness of the rulings, and then seeks something other than this infallible method that is preserved from alteration and distortion revealed by the Most Kind, the All-Knowing, to other methodologies developed by those who fall short of knowing the secrets of legislation that the Lord Almighty has singled out for?! How often do these people contradict each other, permitting today what they prohibited yesterday.
God is the Creator of man, who knows what is good for him and what is harmful to him. God Almighty said: “Does He not know Who He created? And He is the Subtle, the All-Aware ” [Al-Mulk: 14].
Since God Almighty is the Creator alone, He is also the Ruler alone, and therefore scholars of fundamentals define judgment as God’s speech related to the actions of those in charge of a request or situation, so a judgment other than God Almighty is not in fact considered a judgment; God Almighty said: “ Behold, to Him belongs the creation and the command ” [Al-A’raf: 54].
The Sharia has come to include all that is good, listing what people need in this world and the hereafter. How better for a Muslim to make the Sharia his imam and leader, so that he can be happy in this world and be saved in the afterlife. God Almighty said to His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “ Then We placed you upon a law of the matter, so follow it, and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know ” [Al-Jathiya: 18].
Right to convey:
Among the rights of the Qur’an that are indicated by Sharia law is the right to convey it to others and teach it to them, and in that is the great reward, the great good, and the great reward, and this happens to whoever knows even a little bit of the Qur’an, and it is not said that it is little, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged him to convey it by saying: : “Convey from me even if it is a verse” [34] and the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed for those who fulfilled this right, saying: “May God bless the
Read Moreman who heard something from us and conveyed it as he heard, for perhaps he is a more aware conveyer” [35] and he heard from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, what was revealed. To Him is the Lord of glory and majesty from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, explained the virtue of the Qur’an teacher, saying: “The best of you is the one who learns and teaches the Qur’an” [36] .
There is no one more deserving of goodness than the people of the Qur’an who learned it and taught it, for their honor is from the honor of the Qur’an, and their elevation is because of the Wise Remembrance in their chests, and it is a blessing that others have the right to envy them for. On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “There is no envy except in two cases by a man who has given it to him.” God is the Qur’an, so he recites it at night and during the day, and a man to whom God has given wealth, he spends it at night and during the day” [37] .
